Enrollment Processing

Applications are reviewed by the M.S. 319 enrollment team on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment is not considered complete until all student records have been received.

  • How do I apply to M.S. 319?

    The application process is quick and easy. Begin by creating an account. Then complete the step-by-step application. Submit the required student information online. We will let you know if any documents or information are missing from your application.

  • Are there any costs to apply?

    No. We are a tuition-free public school There is no cost to apply and no cost to attend. 

  • Is there a dress code at M.S. 319?

    Yes, there is a dress code. We have partnered with  Peligro Sports, located directly across the street on 168th Street and Amsterdam Avenue to handle all uniform orders. The ordering process is simple and can be done online or at the store and your orders will be delivered directly to our school for distribution to your child or picked up by a family member. Delivery takes 2-3 weeks.

  • Do you offer education for children with special needs?

    Section 504 of The Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requires public schools to offer accommodations for eligible students with disabilities. These accommodations help students with special health needs to participate in New York City Department of Education (DOE) programs and activities on an equal basis with their peers who do not have disabilities.


    DOE program or activity means those sponsored by the DOE, including PA/PTA sponsored after-school programs or extracurricular activities in a DOE building.

  • What is SchoolMint?

    SchoolMint is an online enrollment and communication platform working with public, charters, and private schools to make the enrollment process for parents easier and faster.


    SchoolMint offers options for parents to apply and register with a computer or mobile device. Parents can upload student documents, check application status, and even select the method in which they prefer to receive communication from the school - by email or text.


    M.S. 319 utilizes this enrollment software to ensure security and a timely response to your application.
